In my therapy sessions, we’ll work together to improve thinking patterns, learn skills to better regulate your emotions, and improve habits and behaviors to support your goals. Utilizing evidenced-based treatment, I will help you “reframe” your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. Utilizing various measures of psychodiagnostic assessments, I help clients come to better understand their symptoms and ailments. Recommendations are provided to provide the best therapeutic support for resilience and improved quality of life.

For clients interested in developing skills to better manage Stress, Trauma, and Anxiety, I offer corporate and organization workshops. Group events include educational and experiential trainings in Mindfulness Mediation, Stress, Trauma, and Anxiety with guided practices in yoga for stress management, meditation, breathing, and other relaxation exercises to better regulate stress arousal and manage difficult emotions. 

Yoga, mindfulness, and meditation interventions have been supported in eastern medicine for the treatment of various psychological ailments for over 5,000 years. Today, in gratitude to modern technological advances, these protocols are validated by current scientific literature published in many peer-reviewed studies as beneficial for trauma. anxiety, stress, depression, and several psychological and physical ailments.

Please join us this fall in beautiful La Jolla, California at Prana Yoga Studio for our next Trauma Resilience training October 20-23, 2023.

 

This 15-hour training is an introductory program designed for certified Yoga Teachers, mental health professionals, and anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of trauma and the use of Yoga as a healing modality.

 

The course holds the lens of liberation and centers the process of decolonizing trauma work and the practice and teachings of Yoga to increase social equity in Yoga and mental health services.

 

Through guided discussions, dynamic and interactive learning, movement and breath-work, attendees will walk away with an expanded awareness on how to best support personal and collective healing in their communities.
